This listing is for 1 waney edge oak slab epoxy river table top kit.
These kits will consist of one slab that has been cut in half then planned and flattened ready to be shaped sanded and turned into a river table similar to the one in the photo.
 
These are well-seasoned kiln-dried French oak with a moisture content of around 12%.
 
The overall dimensions of this oak slab coffee table are as follows,
1 m long. The width of both boards together will vary between 380 to 430mm wide 30 to 36 mm thick.
 
These measurements will vary depending upon what slab we use to make the tabletop.
If you require the bow ties these can be purchased separately.
 
These measurements are taken off of the shortest front face.
This oak slab coffee table weighs around 12kg.
 
These waney edge oak slab coffee tops are all made to order so we can make these to the size and dimensions of your choice.
 
This will be posted out unfinished and in two halves for you to finish off.
 
you may need to trim the matching edges for a perfect fit as these are only roughly planned square. The tools needed to finish this off are;
 
Sash clamps, glue, sanding machine, hand or electric plane, hand saw or electric saw, brushes and a  screwdriver.
 
If you do not own these tools or would prefer one with less work then we also sell these already glued up and sanded ready for you to finish.
 
All you will need to do with our finished coffee tables is add your preference of finish and some legs.
 
We recommend applying at least 3 coats of a finish onto these slabs, depending upon what you are using these may need more.
 
We always recommend not placing any natural wide board oak directly near or close to a heat source or in wet areas.
 
Please note all timbers that I sell may have knots, shakes, saw marks, watermarks, cracks, bows, maybe cupped, and could have a small amount of woodworm.
