Shipping Policy On Standard Items

On all of our smaller items that are in stock, we will normally post these out within 3 working days. We then send these out on a 48hr delivery service.

These will be posted using one of our trusted couriers and will be sent using a tracked system so that you will know when this is arriving.

Shipping Policy On Large Bulky Items

Our larger stock items will be sent out within 3 to 4 days depending on when we can arrange for

a courier to collect them. We then send these out on a 48hr delivery service.

 

We sent all our items using one of our trusted courier's services, using a tracked system so that you will know when this is arriving.

For each item, we send we can advise you when it will arrive

Shipping Policy On Bespoke Items

We will advise you on our best estimate of lead times for delivery on bespoke items before you pay

for the item. 

These cannot always be guaranteed but we will always endeavour to give you an accurate lead time whenever we can.  

We normally have around a 2 to 4 week lead time on small bespoke orders but larger orders will have longer lead times.

 Returns Policy On Standard Items

Please advise us before returning an item via the contact form.

Our standard returns policy entitles you to a full refund of the purchase price and postage and packaging charges if you change your mind (i.e. the goods or services provided are not faulty or were not described properly) within 14 working days. (Excluding bespoke orders) After 14 days it would be at our discretion.

 

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, if you change your mind about a purchase you have made within 14 working days after the date of delivery, you are entitled to a full refund of the original purchase price for the goods you wish to return, and the original postage and packaging charges made. You will not be entitled to a refund of the cost you incur in returning the item to us.



We can only refund items returned to us in an unused condition or the same condition that it was advertised and sold to you.


The item must then be sent back to us with a tracked and fully insured courier within 14 days of you receiving the item us that you are returning it.

If you receive a product that is damaged, then please let us know on the day that you receive the item so that we can rectify this.

Please send us clear pictures of the full item including the damage and also the way the parcel was wrapped and the condition that the parcel was wrapped in.

All refunds will be refunded back to the original method of payment, within 7 days of the arrival of the item to us, as long as it is in the condition as stated above.

 Returns Policy On Bulky items

Because of the high cost involved in posting large bulky items in most circumstances, we will charge a

30% restocking fee if you change your mind (i.e. the goods or services provided are not faulty or were not described properly) within 14 working days. (Excluding bespoke orders) After 14 days it would be at our discretion.

 Returns Policy On Bespoke Items, chopping boards and timbers cut to size.

Furniture or items that are made to order or bespoke can only be refunded at the discretion of Waney Edge Timbers.

Bespoke and custom orders are not eligible for refunds unless due to manufacturing fault or defect.

We cannot take back chopping boards, serving boards or cheese boards if they have been used for hygiene reasons.

The cost of sending any item back to us is non-refundable unless agreed by Waney Edge Timbers in advance.
