Our Hard Maple wooden plates are an ideal size for any type of meal. These plates are around 255mm wide and are made from 100% kiln-dried hard maple.
 
Hard Maple is renowned for its fine grain and warm hues, exceptional hardness, durability and stability, but did you know that it also has Antimicrobial properties?
 
We can also supply other size plates and matching Hard Maple chopping boards to make a stunning set.
 
These maple wooden plates have a lovely timber grain and a warmth of character. 
Wooden plates will keep warm foods warm and cold foods cooler longer as wood has natural insulating properties.
 
All of our wooden plates are handmade in our workshop in Lynsted.
 
Each plate will have its own unique character, grain and colours, the pictures above will give you an idea of the look and quality you will receive.
 
All of our wooden plates are easy to clean, just wash with a mild soaped cloth, wipe clean then dry with a towel.
Never put wooden plates in a dishwasher!
 
To maximize their beauty and lifespan, you can occasionally wipe with a food-safe oil, or if you prefer you can leave these to develop a beautiful natural patina.
 
Do not leave these wooden plates to soak in water or place them in a dishwasher. Excess scrubbing with an abrasive pad may remove the food-safe oil, if this happens just reapply another coat of food-safe oil and allow it to fully cure again before use.
 
Please note that for hygiene reasons these cannot be returned if they have been used.
