Our stunning Waney edge oak shelves are made to order.
These are made from our stock of ex 41mm thick kiln-dried oak slabs. All of our rustic oak shelves are made from solid oak.
 
This oak shelves will be supplied 2.2m long x up to 200mm wide and 30mm thick and will be made from character-grade kiln-dried oak with a moisture content of around 12%. All sizes are approximate and the waney edge may vary by up to 20mm.
 
This oak shelf will be flattened and sanded to 150 grit to give you a beautiful finish with a soft waney edge that's ready for you to apply a finish of your choice.
 
These oak shelves will be supplied with 3 straight edges and a choice of a soft waney edge or a square edge to the front. All square edges will have a small chamfer.

We recommend applying at least 3 coats of a finish onto these oak shelves depending upon what you are using and where you are fitting them these may need more.
 
These oak shelves may have some knots, shakes (cracks) and could have small insect holes in the sapwood. This is normal for a waney edge product and cannot be avoided as trees can't run or hide from the critters. These will be treated before posting.
